Have a great day out on La Gomera and get to know the most interesting parts of this beautiful island. This tour starts at the port of Los Cristianos where you’ll take the ferry to San Sebastian de la Gomera, main port and capital of the island. Once there we’ll climb to the Garajonay National Park, nature reserve and World Heritage Site where you’ll be entranced by the ancient, misty laurel forest with its many ferns and moss covered rocks.
We’ll make a stop at the Mirador de la Degollada de Peraza where you’ll get the chance to enjoy panoramic views over the whole island. We’ll drive on through la Palmita, heading directly into the National Park where we’ll make a stop at the picturesque villages of Las Rosas and Agulo. There, we’ll have time for lunch in a typical local restaurant where you’ll get to see a live demonstration of the ''Gomera Whistle'', a unique language developed here for communication over the island’s long distances separated by deep gorges.
If we have time, after lunch we’ll make a stop at the Juego de Bolas Visitor Centre. We’ll then drive through the lush Hermigua Valley, with its hillsides covered with banana plantations, back down to San Sebastian, where you can visit the Torre del Conde and La Casa de Colón, following in the footsteps of Christopher Columbus before he sailed off into the unknown on his first voyage of discovery. After exploring the city, you go back to the ferry for the return trip to Tenerife

Adeje Sail in the pristine seas off the southwest coast of Tenerife aboard the luxurious Sea Quest FF. These relaxing and scenic trips last about three hours and you can come along on an organised cruise or on a private charter to a destination of your choice such as the picturesque island of La Gomera.
The Sea Quest sails out of Puerto Colon and is skippered by an experienced and devoted captain who is passionate about his job. The seas off Tenerife are his life. The boat holds a maximum of 10 passengers, which adds to the sense of exclusivity. The options for exploration are countless. Organised charters are available to destinations such as the stunning hillside hamlet of Masca, which sits at the head of a jaw-dropping gorge in the northwest of Tenerife. Or sail to the base of the imposing Los Gigantes cliffs on the west coast of the island – some of which rise more than 500 metres above the sea. The volcanic island La Gomera is just over 20 nautical miles away and among its many natural attractions is the famous Garajonay National Park, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Come with us for an unforgettable evening of stargazing in the rugged landscapes of the Las Cañadas del Teide National Park. Watch the sun go down and see the ridges and rocks of this otherworldly landscape gradually turn different shades of pink, ochre red and purple. Thenonce darkness has fallen, an expert astronomer will point out the different constellations to you as you enjoy a complimentary glass of Cava.
At over 3700m high, the Teide is the highest mountain in Spain and an active volcano to boot. The skies and atmospheric conditions here are among the best in the world for astronomical observation and the landscapes are simply breathtaking. The scenery here is truly amazing, like something from another planet. Weird rock formations of different hues of red, ochre and brown stand out stark against a cobalt sky. And looming above it all the impressive snow-capped peak of the Teide, the magic mountain of Tenerife.
You'll be picked up from your resort in the late afternoon and driven high up into the craggy wilderness of this National Park, making several photo stops along the way. Then it's time to toast the sunset with a glass of bubbly Cava in your hand. Watch the setting sun fire this landscape in a blaze of colour in a truly humbling experience. Then once darkness has fallen we'll continue to a special viewing station where your knowledgeable guide will map out the night sky for you, constellation by constellation. The air is so clear you'll feel like you can reach and touch the myriad twinkling stars. A night to remember!
