Milan is one of the top fashion cities in the world but there is much more to see in this trendy, urban metropolis – it is also home to an incredible patrimony of art and culture included the Duomo Cathedral and La Scala Opera house.
Enjoy a half-day tour of the impressive city of Milan. Take a look at the medieval Sforza Castle. An impressive medieval Castle and fortress, one of the most impressive urban castles in Europe. The Sforzesco was once residence for the ruling family of Milan and now hosts several of the city's museums and art collections.
Visit the splendid Duomo Cathedral, a striking example of Gothic art and the largest church in Italy. Try to count the statues crammed onto its roof and façade, there are more than 3.200 of them, before following you guide in the visit of the interior.
Exit the Duomo and walk inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping gallery, a 19th century glass vaulted shopping arcade. Brimming with fashionable shops and cafes, it used to be the connecting path between the Cathedral and the La Scala opera house, so the ladies could stay dry in their way to the theatre in case of rain.
At the end of the Galleria you arrive at Milan’s most famous Opera House: the fabulous La Scala theatre. Founded in 1778 and still in use, some of the world’s greatest musicians and opera singers have performed here including Pavarotti, Maria Callas and Giuseppe Verdi. Your entrance ticket provides 24 hours admission to the theatre and museum, so you can return the next day.

Discover Lake Como in Italy's beautiful Lake District, just a short distance from Milan. Nestled between the huge snowcapped Alps that rise up from its shores, is fashionable lakeside town Como. After spending time shopping and dining, you will take a two-hour panoramic cruise on Lake Como to the enchanting village of Bellagio (summer only) or take the funicular to Brunate to admire a breath-taking view of the Lake (winter only).

Lake Como is the third largest lake in Europe and it is surrounded by stunning alpine scenery and beautiful villages famed for their high quality silk production.
Summer tour (April to October)
After your 1-hour coach journey from Milan, start your tour of Como visiting historic center and enjoy some free time to get to know the town and shop in the many local boutiques.
The tour continues with a 2-hours cruise on the lake. Admire the lakeside villas and keep an eye out for Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, a luxurious hotel set in tropical gardens.
The mild Mediterranean climate ensures an abundance of exotic and rare plants thrive year round.
Docking at the town of Bellagio, one of the most famous towns on the lake, you can follow the steep alleys running up from the lake and stop for a coffee or gelato at one of the lively cafes housed in grand historic buildings. Spend some time at your leisure here before cruise to Cadenabbia and return to your coach for the journey back to Milan.

Day 5:Optional Tour in Zurich

Located on the shores of the wonderfully named Lake of the Four Forested Cantons, Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. This full-day partly guided excursion will allow you to wander the medieval streets, admire the immaculately preserved ramparts and the cutting-edge modern architecture among many attractions.
Your adventure begins with a scenic coach journey through picturesque landscapes via the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne
(though we prefer the more romantic German name above) before arriving at the city. Take in the views during a short photo stop en route (along the shores of the lake or at the Lion Monument) and enjoy a brief city tour. Your tour guide will point out the main attractions of this charming town, such as the Chapel Bridge, a diagonal wooden structure dating from 1333 and featuring a series of gable paintings, the Renaissance-style town hall, the 17th century Jesuit church – regarded as Switzerland’s first baroque religious building, and the futuristic Culture and Congress Centre.
You will then have some time to explore the city at your own leisure. Admire the frescoed façades and fairytale turrets of the car-free Old Town. We suggest a visit to the city walls, the Transport Museum or the Rosengart Museum, where works by the artists such as Picasso and Paul Klee are exhibited. Delight yourself with a romantic boat trip on the lake or hop aboard the City Train (from April to October only - Optional ) or simply take it all in with a stroll along the river or shopping in the medieval streets.

Here you can enjoy some time to unwind as you take in the unforgettable and breath-taking views over Zurich, the lake and the snow-capped Alps.
Before the tour comes to an end, contemplate natures natural beauty with a relaxing cruise across the pristine waters of Lake Zurich before boarding the bus and returning to the hustle and bustle of Zurich along the picturesque Gold Coast.
