Your day starts when we pick you up from one of the designated collection points which will be either, your hotel, a point near your hotel or a point near Santorini cruise port.
After pickups your adventure route starts when we reach the Profitis Ilias monastery. Situated 567 meters above sea level, mount Profitis Ilias is the highest of all the mountains on Santorini and will offer you a panoramic view to the whole of the island, where you can take some of the most amazing pictures. Our tour continues following a route to our second stop the Ventsanos Winery. Here for approximately one hour, you will discover the art of winemaking Santorini style, enjoy a tour of the winery and a tasting experience. The winery's unique location provides us with the best panoramic view of the Caldera to enjoy the high quality of wines and their service.
Next, we head to the village of Akrotiri to visit the Lighthouse; from there you will be able to admire the geological formation of Santorini. Continuing our route off the main tourist trail you will discover the hidden beauty of Santorini.
Safari Adventures English speaking drivers will be on hand to make this a memorable day. Passing through the red and black beach via some local villages we reach the most traditional village of Santorini Pyrgos, well known for its unique individual paths and of course the Venetian Castle. In Pyrgos our lunch stop also takes place in a local tavern giving us the opportunity to taste the authentic Greek cuisine and the local wines.
Closing our day, we will return you to your hotel via a asphalt route, full of memories of the authentic Santorinian way of life, its islanders their history, religion and agriculture.

Day 3 : Optional Tour Volcano - Hot Springs Sunset and Dinner Cruise

The excursion stars from the designated pick up points, from where will be driven to Athinios port in order to empark on the traditional boat. The first stop of your adventure is the volcano of Santorini in Nea Kameni Island, where you will have the opportunity to climb on the top of the volcano, see and take photos of the active crater and walk on its rims. The next destination is Palia Kameni where you will dive and swim in the hot springs created by the underwater powers of the volcano. Sailing above the underwater craters from Palia Kameni to Thirasia Island, the boat will anchor close to the island and you will have the time to ship with your wine. In the north cape of Santorini you will admire the magical view of Oia village with its small famous white houses! The end of the excursion comes on sunset time. The boat sets sails and the sun dives to the sea.
Dinner on board: Buffet style with pork rolls, chicken rolls, rise, baked pota-toes, Greek salad, tzatziki (bread, seasonal fruit, free local wine during buffet).

Sail into the heart of the caldera, a result of a catastrophic volcanic eruption that broke one island into four.
We begin the cruise at Athinios port and set sail to Nea Kameni, the larger of the two islets in the centre of the caldera. Here you have the thrilling opportunity of hiking to the rim of the crater; dare to walk around the edge whilst taking in the views over the moon-like landscape (entrance fee not included).
We continue to Palia Kameni to swim in the green sulfur waters and experience bathing in warm therapeutic mud. Set sail to Thirasia where you can swim in the crystal clear waters and visit Manolas, a cobble-stone hamlet perched high above with spectacular views over the caldera, Santorini and beyond.
Our cruise then takes us to the northernmost tip of Santorini to Oia, the jewel of the island. Whitewashed buildings and bright blue domes sparkling in the sunlight form a picture postcard view you won’t forget. There will be a brief stop for those who chose the option to have free time in Oia to disembark before continuing the cruise back to Athinios port.

For those who chose this option, continue your tour with a visit to the renown village of Oia. Once you have disembarked you can take the steps or take a donkey ride (not included) to the village.
Enjoy free time to admire the magnificent panoramic views and the spectacular sunset. After the sun sets, make your way back to the port where you can enjoy a relaxing cruise back to Athinios port.
