The palace, begun in 1782, consists of several building with highly decorated architectural details as well as the Emerald Buddha room which is in the same compound,the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand.
The Emerald Buddha is unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today. Within its enormous grounds is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha image, carved from one-piece jade, which is the holiest and most revered of religious objects in Thailand today.
The Grand Palace, once the official home of the Kings of Siam - built in traditional Thai architecture mixed with European designs. You will also visit The Royal Funeral Hall and The Royal Coronation Hall.
The Itinerary:
- 07:30: Pick up from your hotel lobby and proceed to the Grand palace & Emerald Buddha Temple.
- 08:30: Visit The Grand Palace and the Chapel Royal of the Emerald Buddha besides the royal residences. Wat Phra Kaeo, the most beautiful and important Buddhist temple in Thailand.
- 13:00: Back to the Hotel.
